About the role

Mend.io is looking for an Office Manager & Employee Experience partner to join our HR team. You will be based in our Givatayim office and own the day to day experience there, while creating and delivering the employee experience across all of our sites globally.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will be the person employees turn to, the one who notices what needs fixing before anyone reports it, and the one who makes sure employees feel looked after wherever they sit.

What you'll do

Office & workplace

• Own day to day operations of the Givatayim office: suppliers, kitchen and supplies, cleaning, maintenance, parking, and office equipment

• Manage the office budget, purchase orders, and invoicing in coordination with Finance

• Be the point of contact for vendors and service providers, from sourcing and negotiating to ongoing quality

• Keep the office a place people actually want to come to, and improve how it works as we change

Employee experience, Israel and global

• Build and run the annual welfare and engagement calendar: company events, happy hours, holidays, milestones, gifts, and swag

• Work with HR colleagues to shape a welfare plan that fits each region, so what we deliver actually lands with local employees

• Support internal communication around company activities, celebrations, and HR initiatives

• Bring new ideas for strengthening connection and culture across a distributed team

Employee lifecycle

• Own the operational side of onboarding and offboarding: workspace and equipment setup, IT coordination, swag, and the day one experience

• Support HR processes and projects as they come up, and improve them as we scale

Travel & logistics

• Coordinate flights, hotels, and travel logistics for employees and visiting colleagues

• Support offsites, conferences, and visits from global teams and guests

What we're looking for

• 4+ years as an Office Manager, Employee Experience, or People Operations role in a high-tech or startup environment, owning the function end to end

• Experience supporting employees in a global company

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to run several things at once without dropping any of them

• Proactive and independent. You take something and run with it, and you close loops

• Detail oriented and highly responsible

• Solution oriented. You come with an answer, not only with the problem

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Hebrew and English, spoken and written

• Discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information

• Experience with vendors, procurement, invoices, and budget tracking
  

This position is based in our Givatayim office, hybrid, 4 days a week onsite.
