- Supervise monitoring staff and provide input on performance and goal achievement.
- Maintain staffing schedules and complete timekeeping activities using approved scheduling tools.
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing skill development for monitoring personnel.
- Interpret cardiac monitoring data and identify significant rhythm changes.
- Document rhythm variations and ensure timely communication to appropriate care teams.
- Ensure monitoring equipment is functional, maintained, and available for use.
- Enter telemetry‑related charges and support accurate documentation of rhythm strips in medical records.
- Assist clinical teams by providing monitoring support and responding to requests related to patient care.
- Maintain inventory of monitoring supplies to support uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support workflow efficiency and patient‑care needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance monitoring processes and service quality.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms. [Required]
- Basic computer skills. [Required]
- Pleasant telephone manner and organizational skills. [Required]
- Ability to work with patients/public in potentially difficult situations. [Required]
- Must be proficient in the English language. [Required]
- Scheduling. [Preferred]
- Medical billing and knowledge of charges. [Preferred]
- Medical terminology. [Preferred]
- Education:
- Associate [Preferred]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
Work Experience:
- 2+ telemetry experience [Required]
- Previous hospital experience [Preferred]
- Paramedic or other emergency personnel experience [Preferred]
- Supervisor experience [Preferred]
Additional Information:
- Licenses and Certifications:
- • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$19.42 - $31.07Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
