Job Summary

Transport patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout the Medical Center. Maintain rolling stock, wheelchairs and stretchers.

Essential Functions

• 1. Transports patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout Medical center. * Assigned transports are completed safely, efficiently and within established time frames.
• 2. Routinely collects and maintains wheelchairs and stretchers (including cleaning). * Rolling stock is clean and operational.
• 3. Maintains clerical records as needed. * Log sheets are completed accurately and timely.
• 4. Maintains and operates pneumatic tube system when necessary. * Completes transfers of pneumatic tube timely and efficiently. 100% compliance to departmental standards.
• 5. Perform related duties as required. * Assistance is provided in emergency situations on a timely and reliable basis.

Qualifications

• High School Required
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• OHS Annual Assessment Required
• OHS Fit Test Required
