About the Role:
The Marketing Manager, Global Demand Generation will own end-to-end execution of global demand generation campaigns across Wiley's institutional marketing programs, reporting into the Director. The role offers broad exposure across the team's full range of programs and channels, from paid digital and email to marketing automation and content strategy, making it a strong fit for someone who wants to build versatile, cross-channel marketing expertise.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Own campaign strategy execution across multiple concurrent programs, translating high-level priorities into build plans with minimal step-by-step direction
- Build and deploy campaigns end to end: briefs, copy, content, and assets across email, landing pages, and digital ads
- Build and customize segmented campaigns at scale, tailoring messaging and custom content to different audience clusters rather than running one-size-fits-all sends
- Execute account-based marketing motions at both 1:few and 1:many scale
- Coordinate with the marketing automation team on campaign builds and sequencing
- Partner with segmentation and marketing operations on targeting, personalization, and deployment sequencing
- Contribute to content strategy across the team's campaigns
- Apply working knowledge of paid digital channels, landing page optimization, and campaign analytics platforms
- Track campaign performance against defined metrics and run post-campaign analysis, turning findings into recommendations for the next cycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience in B2B campaign marketing, demand generation, or related roles
- Experience building segmented, personalized campaigns at scale
- Experience working with a marketing automation team to plan and execute campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to own a channel or campaign end to end
- Strong writing and content instincts, with sound judgment on aligning execution to strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience executing account-based marketing (ABM), particularly at 1:few or 1:many scale
- Experience in academic publishing, research, EdTech, or another B2B subscription/institutional-sales environment
- Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM as it relates to campaign tracking
- Experience building landing pages or digital ad creative directly and writing briefs about them
- Demonstrated curiosity and self-directed problem-solving, comfortable finding answers without a defined playbook
