The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Superintendent (Level M) to support the 777 Final Assembly MBU team in Everett, Washington.
A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
8+ years as a Manufacturing Manager mentoring, coaching, and leading teams
Experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
Proficiency utilizing Manufacturing Systems (CMES, ETS)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
5+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
Experience in applying Lean principles or continuous improvement tools and techniques
Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles
