Job Description
Eaton MSD Cheltenham are looking for a Manufacturing Operator. The Eaton MSD Cheltenham manufacturing function is responsible for the manufacture, integration and test of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.Key Responsibilities:
- To manufacture high precision products from detailed engineering drawings for the aerospace industry.
- To manufacture a variety of sub-assemblies for use with Eaton MSD Cheltenham's range of high precision products using appropriate tooling and processes in accordance with the individual’s scope of approval.
- Setup tooling such as presses, drills, special to type tooling etc in accordance with controlled documentation, and in accordance with the individual’s scope of approval.
- To ensure that all build documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures.
- To maintain training records in accordance with company procedure as evidence of work carried out.
- Full understanding of the expectations and requirements of being an Eaton MSD Cheltenham certified Stamp Holder.
- Complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant drawings, manufacturing instructions process sheets and specifications.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Familiar with Code of Practices and IPC620A Standards – not essential as training will be provided.
- Previous experience in a precision assembly environment
