JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Keppel Data Centres is seeking a skilled and experienced Manager, Technical Solutions to lead our team in designing, implementing, and supporting innovative technical solutions for our data centre developments. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and client-facing communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage teams of external technical partners and internal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Oversee end-to-end design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for data centre infrastructure.
Understand client requirements and translate them into feasible technical designs.
Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective and existing clients, articulating solution benefits and addressing technical queries.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution architectures, design specifications, and implementation guides.
Ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices & standards, and Keppel Data Centres' guidelines.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in data centre infrastructure.
Participate in technical scoping and proposal development.
Manage project timelines and deliverables for technical solution implementations.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert-level support.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical solutions, systems architecture, or a similar role within the data centre or mission critical industry.
Proven experience in leading and managing a technical team.
Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling etc.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to carry out high level review of design drawings & documentations.
Familiar with design and procurement processes.
