PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Logistics Coordinator coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production schedules or department priorities. Responds immediately to customer questions and complaints and notifies customer and maintenance personnel of any delays in the delivery schedule of parts and equipment required for mission success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

between departments in accordance with production schedules or
department priorities.
• Provides MX Managers and Team Leads with daily and weekly reports on requisitions status, back shop repair status, awaiting parts (AWP) status and warehouse low balance parts. Works with all levels of personnel to further the objectives of the organization.
• Review production schedules and confer with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and technicians to determine material required or overdue.
• Locate material, requisition material and establish delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated material availability.
• Arrange repair and assembly of material and its distribution to various departments with department supervisors.
• Arranges and monitors transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Compute amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes to compile report of quantity and type of material on hand.
• Track material in process of production, using manual or computerized system.
• The Logistics Coordinator may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has the responsibility and authority to assign and direct daily tasks for personnel assigned to Life Cycle Management Organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
• 2 years of computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Project and Access. Ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred.
• Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with other crew members.
• Must possess effective communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.
• Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
• Ability to follow a process.
• Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
• Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management.
• Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista LLC goals.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years Microsoft Excel and Project.
• 7+ years of aerospace industry experience and 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting a NASA/DoD contract.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
