The Role
Xylem is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to support the efficient movement of goods across domestic and global supply chains. In this role, you will coordinate transportation activities, support import/export documentation, and help ensure compliance with trade regulations and internal policies. You will work closely with sourcing, planning, manufacturing, customer service, brokers, carriers, and third-party logistics partners to drive on-time delivery, cost-effective transportation execution, and regulatory compliance. Core Responsibilities
Support day-to-day execution of domestic and international shipments by partnering with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal teams.
Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, export documentation, and customs-related records.
Help ensure compliance with import/export regulations, trade requirements, recordkeeping standards, and internal company policies.
Review shipment-related data for accuracy, including product classifications, country of origin, valuation information, and other data used in transportation and customs processes.
Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery risks, delays, exceptions, and recovery plans to internal and external stakeholders.
Support freight cost control through routing adherence, carrier coordination, invoice review, and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, planning, procurement, customer service, and manufacturing teams to resolve logistics issues and improve operational execution.
Maintain logistics metrics and reporting related to transportation performance, on-time delivery, freight spend, and compliance activities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen transportation processes, visibility, standard work, and trade compliance controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
Experience in domestic transportation, international shipping, logistics operations, or trade compliance.
Working knowledge of import/export documentation and transportation processes.
Experience with ERP systems, transportation management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of customs processes, HTS classification, country of origin requirements, Incoterms, and broker/carrier coordination.
Experience supporting compliance audits or regulatory recordkeeping requirements.
Experience with freight spend analysis, KPI reporting, or logistics process improvement initiatives.
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
