Main Duties

• Liaising with customers on a daily basis.
• Processing customer request and booking shipments in line with customer request
• Raising accurate shipment files in Rhenus’ in house forwarding system (ROCS) and all associated documents.
• Ensure all costs & sales are entered for each shipment and highlighting any loss making files to the Team Leader
• Receiving quotation enquiries for both Air import and export shipments
• Answering Overseas office e-mails.
• Dealing directly with the Airlines to obtain rates and make bookings
• Following up on customer quotations for feedback.
• Growing the airfreight business, contacting potential customers, engaging with customers on a regular basis
• Liaising with suppliers / carriers in the booking of shipments
• General office duties including filing of documentation and shipment files

Skills & Experience

• Experienced in the handling of import / export multi modal shipments
• Must be able to complete / understanding of Airfreight processes
• Experience of DG by Air preferred, but not essential.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Package
