Your role within the team:

• Developing process engineering deliverables, particularly in pyrometallurgical processes and off-gas handling systems.Heat and mass balance development using HSC-Sim and METSIM software products.

• Trade-off studies and technology selectionProcess descriptionProcess Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) developmentPipe sizingData sheet and equipment specification development.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering.

• 1-2 years experience in the following areas are essential: Technical report writing, familiarity with Flowsheet development.

• Familiarity with off-gas handling units and off-gas characteristics.

• Working knowledge of Design calculations / Equipment sizing.

• Familiarity with process control basis

• Awareness of Health, safety and Environment (HSE)Heat and mass balance development using HSC-Sim and METSIM software products.

• Trade-off studies and technology selection, process description.

• Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) development.

• Pipe Sizing, Data sheet and equipment specification development.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $61,900 - $80,000 annually for Ontario) Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
