How We Work
We move fast, debrief quickly, and expect you to own your output. This is a dynamic company, we value speed and decisiveness over process. You'll have the context you need to make good decisions, and the autonomy to make them.
About the Role
This role follows a hybrid model. We ask that you're in our Sao Paulo office 3 days per week.
As a Junior Operations Analyst, you'll support Tensec's Brazil operations team in executing and monitoring foreign exchange transactions for B2B clients, reviewing FX contracts, settlements, and closings for accuracy, and helping ensure every transaction complies with Central Bank (BCB/BACEN) regulation. This is an execution-focused, individual-contributor role, you'll own the accuracy and timeliness of the transactions in your queue rather than managing people or setting policy.
You will be working on BCB/BACEN in depth, a applying your knowledge on regulatory mechanics behind each transaction.

Review and process FX contracts, settlements, and closings, ensuring accuracy of rates, amounts, and deadlines
Monitor FX market rates and movements to support operational decisions
Support KYC/KYB and client due diligence processes related to FX operations
Serve as a point of contact with partner banks, brokerages, and internal teams (compliance, product, sales) to resolve operational issues
Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate FX routines
What We're Looking For
1+ years of experience in FX operations, treasury, a trading desk, or the international/back-office area of a financial institution, fintech, or trading company
Knowledge of Brazilian FX regulations (BCB/BACEN) and familiarity with FX contracts
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines and high transaction volumes
Proficiency in Excel/spreadsheets; knowledge of automation tools or SQL is a plus
Intermediate English (communication with partners and international documentation)
Collaborative, proactive mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience with FX operations for logistics or foreign trade clients (nice to have)
Prior experience at a fintech, digital bank, or international payments company (nice to have)
Knowledge of KYB/KYC and anti-money laundering (AML) processes (nice to have)
To Thrive in This Role, You Have:
Genuine fluency in how cross-border trade and freight actually work, not just what the pitch deck says
High agency, when something is unclear or broken in your queue, you fix it without waiting for a playbook
A commercial and product mindset in equal measure: you care what closes, and you care what gets built next
Compensation, Benefits and Perks
Competitive base salary
Health insurance
Meal vouchers
Paid time off and local statutory holidays
Learning and development budget
