About this role As a Junior Master Data Analyst in our Finance Systems department, you will be the main entry point into the Master Data Management (MDM) team. In this role, you will care for our system users by triaging daily master data requests and maintaining our financial data structures across core systems like Workday Finance, OneStream, and Anaplan. Working collaboratively alongside an experienced team, you will lead by taking ownership of routine data quality audits while building a foundational understanding of our financial data models. We are looking for someone who brings a customer-centric approach, eager to learn and deliver results through teamwork.
 

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Triage first-line user queries quickly and manage day-to-day master data requests to drive service excellence.

• Execute daily MDM requests—such as creating cost centres or ledger accounts—while conducting routine data quality audits.

• Maintain strict adherence to MDM compliance processes, aiming high to keep our financial structures accurate.

• Work closely with the wider team to deliver key objectives, shadow requirement gathering, and assist on projects.

• Execute system updates under direct supervision while continuously collaborating and helping teammates succeed.

• Leverage AI and technology to streamline workflows, such as automating Data Dictionary updates to simplify processes.
   

What will you bring to the team?

• A customer-first mindset with the ability to step into stakeholders' shoes and prioritize requests effectively.

• Strong curiosity and problem-solving skills, staying committed to achieving goals and tackling daily data challenges.

• Basic knowledge of, or an eagerness to learn, Finance data models like Chart of Accounts (COA) and P&L structures.

• Foundational familiarity with core financial platforms such as Workday Finance, OneStream, or Anaplan.

• A tech-forward attitude and comfort using modern tools and AI to optimize daily tasks and make a lasting impact.

• Clear communication skills to resolve user queries, explain data facts, and build trusted partner relationships.
