Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of new tools, jigs, and fixtures based on engineering specifications and production requirements.
- Support the modification and improvement of existing tools and fixtures to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct basic analysis of tool and fixture performance, identifying areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and manufacturing teams to understand tooling needs and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of tool designs, specifications, and maintenance records.
- Participate in the inspection and quality control of manufactured tools and fixtures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards within the manufacturing facility.
- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of tooling components.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Candidate having sound knowledge in Tool & fixtures with good knowledge of GD&T
Required Qualification:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably with exposure to tooling.
- Basic understanding of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD,UNGX).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly.
- Familiarity with various types of tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
