Working closely with the Head of IT, the ISMS Manager, infrastructure specialists, business applications teams, and the IT Change Management Board, you will establish a reliable asset management function that supports international operations, drives licence optimization, and ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.

Requirements

What You'll Need

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, or a similar role within a multi-site or international environment.
  • Hands-on experience with IT Asset Management or CMDB platforms such as Snipe-IT, ServiceNow SAM, Lansweeper, Freshservice, or similar solutions.
  • Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle management, software licensing models, SaaS subscription management, and licence reconciliation processes.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, or migrating IT Asset Management platforms is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 asset management requirements, with previous experience supporting certification or compliance audits considered a strong advantage.
  • Administrative experience with Microsoft 365 and modern cloud-based IT platforms.
  • Experience using scripting, APIs, or automation tools for inventory management and reporting is considered a plus.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to create procedures, audit evidence, reports, and governance documentation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate effectively across international and multidisciplinary teams. German is considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • ITIL Foundation, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, CSAM, or similar certifications are considered an advantage.

What You'll Do

  • Own the complete lifecycle of hardware, software licences, and SaaS assets across multiple international entities, maintaining a single, accurate source of truth for the entire IT asset estate.
  • Evaluate the current IT Asset Management platform, determine whether it meets the organization's future requirements, and lead the implementation or migration to a more suitable solution when needed.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve the global hardware asset register while ensuring alignment with mobile device management and identity management platforms.
  • Manage software licences, SaaS subscriptions, and cloud entitlements by reconciling usage against purchased licences, identifying optimization opportunities, and maintaining an approved software catalogue.
  • Plan and execute structured hardware, software, and SaaS audits, producing detailed reports, tracking remediation actions, and maintaining evidence suitable for internal and external certification audits.
  • Ensure the asset management program fully supports ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements by producing audit-ready documentation and maintaining accurate asset ownership records.
  • Act as the asset management representative within the IT Change Management Board, ensuring all approved changes are accurately reflected in the asset register.
  • Maintain licence and contract renewal schedules, proactively coordinating renewals with stakeholders to prevent service interruptions.
  • Identify cost savings and licence optimization opportunities through data-driven analysis and present recommendations to IT leadership.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve asset management policies, procedures, and governance documentation that align with the company's Information Security Management System.
  • Produce regular KPI dashboards covering hardware inventory, software utilization, audit results, asset lifecycle status, compliance metrics, and operational performance.
