Internship dates: January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
Develop and execute test cases to validate the performance and capabilities of GPU-based Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solvers for compressor aerodynamics.
Analyze results, propose improvements, and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Document processes, results, and findings to support ongoing development, and set best practice guidelines within the compressor aerodynamics department.
Participate in team meetings and discuss with other engineers in the department. This position is almost exclusively office based.
What do you need to be successful?
Be eligible to work in Canada.
Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
Understanding of fluid dynamics and turbomachinery.
Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, including cluster environments and parallel processing.
Knowledge of Linux OS.
Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solvers such as ANSYS CFX or Fluent, including setup, simulation, and post-processing.

The salary range for this role is 23.70 to 34.50 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
