Purpose of the Position

The Kitchen Intern will support the culinary team in the preparation and production of high-quality food while gaining practical experience in a professional hotel kitchen. The internship aims to develop culinary skills, promote adherence to hotel standards, and provide exposure to all aspects of kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and mise en place according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and utensils.
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times.
• Support chefs during breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies using the FIFO method.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food items to minimize waste.
• Learn and comply with hotel policies, grooming standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
