NTT Data seeks high-achieving team players who quickly adapt to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for an Informatica Engineer to work with our global client in the U.S. for a remote opportunity in LATAM (including Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru).
ROLE SUMMARY
Specialist in implementing and operating data governance and quality platforms on Informatica IDMC (CDGC, CDQ/IDQ), including governance of the Unity Catalog for Databricks Lakehouse. Able to integrate governance with privacy tooling (OneTrust), cataloging, and lineage, and to apply CLAIRE to accelerate the definition of quality rules, metadata classification, and policy documentation.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Informatica IDMC · Governance & Quality
- Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) + Metadata Command Center: enterprise catalog, catalog sources and scanners, end-to-end lineage, technical and business metadata, data classification, curation, dashboards, and Data Marketplace.
- Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) / Informatica Data Quality (IDQ): data profiling, rule specifications, quality rule definition, continuous monitoring, and scorecards.
- AXON Data Governance: data domain management, business glossary, and data stewardship workflows; knowledge of the AXON to CDGC modernization path.
- (Desirable) Integration with MDM SaaS / Reference 360 for master and reference data governance.
Databricks Lakehouse Governance
- Databricks Unity Catalog: cataloging and end-to-end lineage of Delta tables in CDGC, classification of Lakehouse assets, and governance alignment between Unity Catalog and CDGC.
- Data quality monitoring and policy enforcement over Lakehouse datasets.
AI-Assisted Governance (CLAIRE)
- CLAIRE GPT / CLAIRE Copilot: assisted generation of quality rules, metadata classification suggestions, automatic generation of business glossary descriptions and aliases, and policy documentation.
- (Desirable) Conversational data stewardship interface and CLAIRE Agents for data lineage.
Cloud-Agnostic (Complementary)
- Azure: Microsoft Purview / Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks.
- AWS: Glue Data Catalog, Lake Formation, Redshift.
Privacy & Complementary Tools
- OneTrust (Data Discovery, PII classification).
- Collibra and Monte Carlo (desirable).
Standards & Frameworks
- DAMA-DMBOK: data management knowledge areas.
- Experience in regulated environments: GDPR, financial sector, data privacy.
CERTIFICATIONS
- Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog, Professional Certification (ICP) (core to the role).
- Informatica CDGC Foundation / IDMC Foundation.
- CDMP, Certified Data Management Professional (DAMA) (desirable).
- Databricks certification on Unity Catalog / Data Governance (desirable).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) (complementary).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and maintain the governance platform on CDGC and AXON.
- Configure and manage quality rules, policies, and stewardship workflows in CDQ/IDQ.
- Integrate the catalog with source systems (databases, ERP, CRM, cloud storage, Databricks) through scanners and catalog sources.
- Govern the Databricks Lakehouse by aligning Unity Catalog lineage and classification with CDGC.
- Collaborate with data owners and business stakeholders to define standards and quality requirements.
- Ensure traceability, end-to-end lineage, and regulatory compliance of data assets.
- Apply CLAIRE to accelerate rule definition and metadata classification.
