Internship Program Overview:  

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. Summary of Role: 

Industrial Engineering Productivity Study through data analysis, streamlining of business processes and reports automation. Wafer fabrication in foundry is the fundamental of all electronics appliances in the semiconductor supply chain. Productivity study is critical since it is important to obtain optimal wafer output during manufacturing processes. This can be fulfilled with Industrial Engineering's data analysis, streamlining of business processes and reports automation. 

Essential Responsibilities include: 

• Automate and streamline various business processes like factory data extraction, preparation, analysis & reporting  

• Establish mathematical models to capture, predict and manage tool performance of different tool types  

• Prepare and conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry standards. 

• Analyze manufacturing and operational data to identify productivity improvement opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions. 

Other Responsibilities: 

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Education – Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Computer Science Engineering OR related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.  

• Must be in good academic standing. 

• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.  

• Available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Prior related internship or co-op experience 

• Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. 

• Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills  

• Strong planning & organizational skills 

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills - proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI, SQL)
