Deutsche Bank’s (‘DB’) Listed Derivatives Execution Solutions (‘LDES’ team) supports all aspects of Deutsche Bank’s Listed Derivatives execution platform delivery to its internal & external clients. 

LDES is a hybrid team of electronic trading specialists (High Touch/Low Touch) and voice execution, who focus on both disciplines with a mind for post trade clearing for the Listed Derivatives & Markets Clearing (LD&C) business globally.  Electronic trading inclusive of High Touch, Algorithmic Trading & TCA, Direct (‘DMA’), Co-location and Sponsored Market Access (DMA).

Your key responsibilities:

Clients and Revenue - 

• Revenue Focused, Cost Sensitive – Deliver global growth goals through increased revenue & cost efficiencies. Track progress against targets, adjusting strategy & delivery as and where required. 

• Relationship Management and Pitching business - Maintain key client relationships and pitch execution services to clients in cooperation with Product & Sales teams. Develop strong relationships with DB’s client base to ensure their requirements are met & proactively work to increase client penetration across the full suite of execution products. 

• Strategic Platform Partner - Consider client feedback and work with internal DB teams to provide commercially viable product improvements. 

• Onboarding - Drive the onboarding of clients to go-live and provide a high-quality customer experience and attitudes through exemplary client service and technology support functions. 

Electronic Trading Platform & Management - 

• Electronic Trading Client Management - Manage client orders during technical outages, checking position totals, reconciling orders to clients and/or exchanges, and cancelling orders as required to reduce error, exchange or regulatory risk, or as instructed by the client. 

• Algorithm Support and Development - Understand Algorithmic trading functionality and strategies to support clients best use of algos and expected behaviour, and where appropriate suggest or advise best usage of the algorithms to clients. 

• Electronic Trading Platform & Vendor Management - Monitor and manage full electronic trading offering across proprietary & third-party vendor applications ensuring all issues are managed expediently, maintain external relationships with relevant electronic trading FIX and ASP vendors, and maintain internal relationships with technology, operations and compliance teams to manage the platform effectively. 

Risk and Regulatory Management 

• Risk Management - Consider & effectively manage risk to the Bank and Clients, ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place to enable appropriately controlled client access. 

• Regulatory Adherence Management - Continually update knowledge on exchange and regulatory rules and requirements relating to trading flows and the associated setup and always adhere to all appropriate regulatory rules and requirements. 

• Client and Platform Regulatory Safety -  Manage client Due Diligence Questionnaires, Product Approvals, electronic control risk assessments and other product related initiatives as required. 

Voice Execution 

• Voice Execution on Listed Markets - Ability to execute trades on behalf of clients across multiple different trading platforms & regions (subject to applicable licencing & registrations) 

Your skills and experience:

• 3-6 years’ experience working in electronic trading, algorithms, voice execution, sales, in Listed Derivatives (Futures and Options).

• Prior experience on monitoring, operating or developing electronic trading and/or algorithmic trading platforms.

• Prior experience using or executing on platforms, such as Bloomberg and other industry execution trading platforms, including block/NLT procedures on relevant exchanges, such as SGX, HKFE, JPX, EUREX, ICE and CME.

• Team player who can work well across various teams in their region along with the LD teams across various locations globally.

• Strong relationships in the Industry or solid customer base in Asia Pacific markets.

• Fluency in business level English, and either Mandarin or Japanese to assist with Chinese/Japan speaking clients and follow the sun model client coverage

• Fully licenced to execute Futures on SGX and other global exchanges and skills to execute client orders in a price and timely manner, while adhering to regulatory requirements for exchange execution.  Unlicensed individuals would need to attain their license within first 8 weeks of joining.

• Tertiary education of University Degree level or equivalent work experience

• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
