Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, pre-historic sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Here, residents and guests will find six world-class golf courses built in harmony with the land: Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, Sandbox, The Lido, Sedge Valley, and Commons. Founded in 2016 by brothers Michael and Chris Keiser, the resort is known for its friendly hospitality and a community of golf and outdoor enthusiasts who have been drawn to the raw beauty and serenity of the vast Wisconsin Wilderness.

Position Summary

As a Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms. Your attention to detail and dedication to service ensure every guest enjoys a welcoming and memorable stay at Sand Valley.

What You’ll Do

Clean guestrooms and residences to resort standards.

Change linens, make beds, and restock towels, amenities, and supplies.

Sanitize bathrooms (fixtures, tubs, showers, tiles).

Dust, vacuum, mop, and clean surfaces, mirrors, windows, walls.

Inspect lighting, drapes, HVAC units; report maintenance issues.

Replenish housekeeping carts, caddies, and storage rooms.

Confirm rooms are guest-ready; report safety or maintenance concerns.

Wash, dry, and fold linens/towels as assigned.

Assist teammates and perform related tasks as assigned.

What You'll Bring

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Prior hotel or resort housekeeping experience (preferred)

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently

Professional appearance, positive attitude, strong communication skills

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts through the end of October.

Comfortable working primarily indoors, moving between buildings in various weather conditions, and safely handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.

Stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and kneel for extended periods (up to 5 hours).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance; frequently lift 20 lbs and occasionally 30 lbs.
