In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

About BridgeBio Pharma, Inc.

BridgeBio is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering, developing, and delivering transformative medicines for patients living with genetic diseases and genetically defined cancers. Since our founding in 2015, we have built a diverse portfolio of more than 20 drug development programs, ranging from early discovery to late-stage clinical trials, across multiple therapeutic areas including precision oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, and renal disease. We have already achieved regulatory approval for three therapies and continue to advance promising science from academia into meaningful treatments for patients worldwide.

Who We Are

BridgeBio is a global biotechnology company with our Global Headquarters located in San Francisco, USA, and our International HQ located in Zug, Switzerland. Since establishing our European presence in 2021, we’ve been building empowered, high-performing teams across countries — experienced colleagues who move quickly, take ownership, and are fueling the company’s international growth.

At BridgeBio, you’ll find an energetic and collaborative culture where pragmatism meets bold decision-making. We embrace uncertainty with confidence, guided by our commitment to making a meaningful impact for patients. Our people are trusted and empowered, united by urgency, purpose, and the drive to advance science for patients around the world.

What You’ll Do

You will report to Executive Vice President, Communications and work closely with SVP Head of International to drive strategic initiatives that support BridgeBio’s mission of delivering transformative medicines to patients with genetic diseases and genetically driven cancers.

We are entering our first multi-market ex-US launch cycle across a footprint that includes wholly owned affiliates, partner-commercialized territories, and distributor-only markets. This role owns how the company is understood outside the United States, its reputation, its narrative, and its voice,  across all three, and builds the governance that lets one company speak coherently through three different structures.

Responsibilities

Own the international communications strategy

  • Define and own the ex-US communications strategy spanning corporate reputation, media relations, executive visibility, and product milestone communications
  • Build the international communications operating model: which markets are led in-house, which through partners, which through agencies, and the decision rights attached to each
  • Represent the international perspective in global communications planning, so ex-US market realities shape decisions upstream rather than arriving downstream
  • Set the measurement framework, share of voice, message pull-through, milestone coverage — and report against it quarterly

Protect reputation and manage issues

  • Own corporate reputation and issues management outside the US, partnering with Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Market Access and International Leadership team.
  • Serve as regional lead for issues escalation: define the threshold at which an in-market issue becomes a global one, and who speaks at each stage.
  • Govern the boundary where US-compliant content becomes non-compliant in-market: corporate website territory gating, social channel policy, and employee social conduct across national codes

Build the international voice

  • Develop and own senior media relationships in international health, business and financial press
  • Serve as a named company spokesperson ex-US, and build a bench of credible local spokespeople so market credibility does not depend on flying executives in
  • Own international executive visibility for company leadership: media, congresses, conferences, and thought leadership
  • Direct localization as an editorial judgment, not a translation queue: decide which global stories are portable and which markets need a natively-built narrative

Lead milestone and launch communications

  • Lead communications around ex-US regulatory, reimbursement and commercial milestones
  • Support European and Japanese medical congresses and data disclosures alongside Medical Affairs
  • Produce clear, compliant guidance and materials that affiliates, partners and agencies can execute without re-litigating strategy
  • Align communications with partner and licensee organizations in territories they commercialize

Function ownership

  • Own a seven-figure international communications budget, including authority to commission, scope and reallocate agency spend in-market
  • Build and govern the regional agency network as the ex-US footprint expands, holding agencies to the standard of operating as an extension of the internal team
  • Operate as a senior individual contributor through the agency network

First-year deliverables

  • A written international communications operating model covering owned, partner and agency markets, with a decision log naming who approves what
  • A partner communications governance agreement: joint announcement rights, spokesperson attribution, safety-signal protocol, and review timelines
  • Ex-US digital strategy and implementation oversight for web, AI, and social channels
  • A qualified agency roster against a rationalized budget, with a reporting cadence

Where You’ll Work

This is an office-based role and requires in-office collaboration 2-3 times per week in our Zug office.

Who You Are

  • 12+ years of communications experience within biopharmaceuticals or biotech, gained in fast-paced in-house and/or agency environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership of communications across multiple ex-US markets, not US-led global programs with international distribution.
  • Rare disease and launch experience preferred; experience in partner or alliance-commercialized markets strongly preferred.
  • Deep fluency in the regulatory frameworks governing prescription medicine communication outside the US,  spanning major regimes such as EU Directive 2001/83/EC, the UK's ABPI Code/MHRA guidance, and Japan's PMD Act,  with the judgment to apply the right standard across international markets.
  • Track record managing sensitive regulatory, access or reputational topics in-market, with Legal and Compliance as standing partners
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills. Additional European or Japanese language capability is valued but not required.

We have high expectations for our team members. We make sure those working hard for patients are rewarded and cared for in return.

  • Market-leading compensation

  • We provide career development through regular feedback, continuous education and professional development programs
  • We celebrate strong performance with financial rewards, peer-to-peer recognition, and growth opportunities

À propos de BridgeBio Pharma

BridgeBio exists to develop transformative medicines for genetic conditions. Millions of people worldwide living with genetic conditions lack treatment options, often because drug development for small patient populations can be commercially challenging. We aim to bridge the gap between advancements in genetic science and meaningful medicines for underserved patient populations.

Our decentralized, hub-and-spoke model is designed for speed, precision, and scalability. Autonomous and empowered teams focus on individual conditions, while a central hub provides the clinical, regulatory, and commercial capabilities needed to bring innovation to market.
