The Position

Head - AI & Digital Solutions

Location: India (location agnostic)

About the Role: We're building our AI and digital solutions capability from the ground up. You'll shape what we deliver—defining our approach, leading a pilot team for one disease area, and proving out solutions before we scale.

You'll own:

• Vision & Strategy: Identify high-impact healthcare problems solvable with AI/digital. Frame solutions that deliver business value.

• Team Leadership: Lead Data Manager(s) overseeing our data platform, analytics, and internal dashboards. Partner with AI Production Manager on external-facing solutions—from discovery through production.

What You'll Do

• Define our initial AI/digital roadmap—what problems matter, what's solvable, what's valuable

• Lead end-to-end cycles: identifying opportunities → prototyping → vendor partnerships → production

• Build team capability (mentoring, setting standards, learning together)

• Ensure solutions are grounded in real healthcare needs and deliver measurable impact

• Oversee data platform architecture and internal analytics strategy

• Report learnings and shape the next phase based on what works

What We're Looking For

• Healthcare understanding: Commercial, clinical, or operational exposure. You understand how healthcare decisions work.

• AI/digital curiosity & Data Literacy:  You understand what AI can and can't do. You know data platform fundamentals and can brief stakeholders on data health.

• Commercial sense: You frame problems that matter to stakeholders.

• Regulatory & compliance knowledge:  Understanding of medical, regulatory, and data privacy risks.

• Leadership potential:  You attract talent, move fast, and learn from failure.  Ability to lead a small team of talented individuals and provide the needed direction and support.

• Collaboration mindset:  You break silos and drive collective wins.

• Hands-on: You'll deep-dive into problem definition, solution sketching, and delivery.

• Experience partnering with tech companies/startups: You’ve dealt with and have a network in the world of AI Tech and start-ups, and are experienced in managing vendors and structuring creative partnerships with them
