About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detailed oriented Casual Groundskeeper at Collaroy Centre to join our team at The Collaroy Centre, NSW (Northern Beaches).
Purpose of the Role:
Maintain gardens and grounds, to ensure a functional and safe outdoor space for our internal customers and guests.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- General garden maintenance (mowing, edging, pruning)
- Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment
- Identifying and addressing basic maintenance needs in outdoor areas
- Role also involves blowing and cleaning roads and pathways, as well as assisting with meeting room and event space setups, not just gardening.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in grounds maintenance/gardening.
- Experience in garden maintenance and landscaping
- Confident using a range of gardening tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Mention that a horticulture, landscaping, or similar qualification would be desirable but not essential.
Salary on offer : Salary range between $26-$27.5/h $27.97 Plus Casual loading
Requirements for the role:
- A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required
- Valid Working with Children’s check
- Valid Driver’s License
- Flexibility with hours to meet operational requirements
Days and hours of working Operational Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
