The position also supports the development and standardization of land transportation procedures, validates operational readiness and provider capabilities, and provides the Logistics Platform Manager with expert advice on the cost, capacity, reliability, and operational risk associated with surface freight operations throughout the Pacific area of responsibility.

  • Coordinate specialized transportation requirements, including oversized, overweight, hazardous, sensitive, high-value, or otherwise mission-critical cargo, as applicable.

  • Provide operational oversight of cargo pickup, staging, loading, transit, delivery, and handoff activities to ensure accountability and continuity throughout the transportation process.
