About the Role

We are looking for a Freelance Videographer to support our creative team in producing engaging, high-quality video content for our marketing, branding, and social media initiatives. This is a project-based freelance role, ideal for a creative professional experienced in both shooting and editing content, with a strong eye for storytelling and social-first video production.

Compensation is paid on a per-deliverable basis, with project fees typically ranging from RM1,000 to RM5,000, depending on the scope, complexity, and deliverables involved.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

• Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, corporate branding, events, and social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (XHS).

• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand project objectives and translate them into compelling visual content.

• Capture footage using professional camera equipment while ensuring excellent lighting, framing, and audio quality.

• Support both planned productions and quick-turnaround content creation when required.

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit videos for various digital platforms, ensuring content is engaging, polished, and optimized for each platform.

• Perform color correction, sound editing, motion graphics, subtitling, and basic visual effects where needed.

• Deliver final assets within agreed timelines while maintaining high production standards.

Content Collaboration

• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketers to execute creative concepts and campaign ideas.

• Contribute ideas for video formats, storytelling approaches, and content that resonates with digital audiences.

• Adapt content into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.

Equipment & File Management

• Manage video equipment during productions and ensure proper handling of all gear.

• Organize footage, project files, and deliverables for efficient collaboration and future use.

• Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines and technical specifications.

Stay-Up-To-Date

• Keep up with the latest video trends, editing styles, and platform best practices.

• Recommend creative ideas and production techniques that enhance content performance and audience engagement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Film, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

• Proven experience as a freelance or professional videographer with a strong portfolio or showreel.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, or equivalent editing software.

• Strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting, audio recording, and video production workflows.

• Experience creating content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Excellent storytelling, composition, and editing skills with strong attention to detail.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

• Own camera equipment is an advantage but not mandatory.
