WHAT YOU’LL DO

● Build and maintain strong client relationships, confidently defending creative directions and translating high level business needs into actionable tasks for the creative team

● Navigate project hurdles such as fluctuating budgets and tight timelines with sophisticated problem solving skills, ensuring the team remains focused and effective under pressure

● Seamlessly manage the transition from abstract concept to final craft, ensuring the integrity of the creative vision is maintained across multiple high priority workstreams

● Lead clients to evolve their approach and partner with the agency to deliver world changing social thinking, campaigns and content

● Oversee the daily work of creative staff, delegating tasks effectively, providing high level constructive feedback, and fostering an environment of growth and creative bravery

● Lead the development of complex, nuanced ideas, ensuring all art direction and copy meet rigorous agency standards while strategically contributing to long term client goals

● Proactively provide creative solutions for clients and inspire others to do the same

● Manage and mentor junior team members, by leading, inspiring and developing a team of innovative creative thinkers

● Identify creative opportunities that blend emerging AI tools with traditional storytelling

● Use AI to help streamline processes, such as workflows compress the ideation phase, expand creative horizons, and to develop campaign briefs & presentations

● Act as the team’s AI subject matter expert, training staff on new capabilities and leading the conversation on the proactive, ethical use of AI in creative workflows

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

7+ years experience working in a creative leadership role within an agency or internal brand team

● You have a proven track record of creating breakthrough social media content

● You understand how to be authentically native on social platforms via short-form video, motion graphics, trending sounds, etc.

● You are a strong communicator who treats co-workers and clients with empathy and respect

● Ability to oversee both visual and narrative components of large-scale campaigns

● Experience crafting creative strategies that are grounded in market data and client KPIs

● Hybrid creative skills (e.g. A sharp wit and a good eye. You can art direct and write. You’re comfortable making and directing.)

● On-set production and post-production experience

● Willingness to get your hands dirty and lead by example with experience guiding teams and leading creative projects
