JOB DESCRIPTION
Operates gable top carton, portion cup creamer, and bag-in-a-box filling machines and packages product.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter
- Adhere to Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities by following all safety rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements.
- Comply with all GMP, HACCP, and MSS standards and procedures.
- Complete MSS tasks on a weekly basis.
- Report any food safety or quality issues to management and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Complete all paperwork, charts, and related documentation in a timely and legible manner.
- Maintain general housekeeping and keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Maintain adequate supplies of cartons, caps, bags, film, boxes, and lid stock to prevent line interruptions.
- Set up the filler for production.
- Pull product samples for lab testing and verify correct product weights.
- Perform sanitation and CIP of the filler, attached tanks/lines, and general room sanitation.
- Report maintenance-related issues to the maintenance department using a maintenance request form or by immediate request via the paging system.
- Keep the supervisor informed regarding actual versus planned production, production disrupting issues, and causes of equipment downtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You….
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing preferred.
- Forklift experience is helpful; certification may be required.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety principles, chemical safety, and general industrial safety.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to troubleshoot routine processing and equipment issues using basic mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, counting, and data recording for production and quality information.
- Must be able to complete written correspondence, fill out forms, charts, graphs, and digital entries accurately.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, QA, and maintenance personnel.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain focus during long shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, lift moderate weights, and work in hot or cold environments as required.

Rotating Shift:
Week 1-Mon, Wed & Thu
Week 2-Tues, Fri, Sat, & Sun
