OVERVIEW
As a Facilities Manager, you will own the delivery of our facilities strategy across our North American Portfolio.
You will be the primary point of contact for FM in an assigned region, and will be responsible for proactively preventing, identifying, tracking, and resolving all facilities-related issues. While external partners will manage major construction and heavy project execution, this role is responsible for day-to-day facilities oversight, Service Channel management, issue escalation, and ensuring all requests are followed through to completion.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong commercial and contract-management acumen, deep FM knowledge across markets, who is hands-on, highly organized, and solutions-oriented professional who can remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly across multiple stakeholders, and adapt to spontaneous operational needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Traveling up to 30%
- Serve as the day-to-day owner and escalation point for the outsourced FM provider delivering hard and soft services across region in North America.
- Oversee the daily operations of retail facilities, ensuring that all functions are performed in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate and supervise the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Vendor Management: Develop and manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring service contracts are adhered to and invoices are managed, monitor and enforce SLA’s and KPI’s; run regular performance reviews, and drive service improvement.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facilities maintenance budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits.
- Project Management: Plan and oversee minor renovation and construction projects, managing timelines and budgets while minimizing disruption to retail operations.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, work orders, and inspections. Prepare regular reports on facility issues, project status, and budgetary concerns.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance, reactive works, and the operational readiness of every store in North America Region location.
- Partner with the Director of Retail Facilities to align regional priorities, reporting, standards and playbooks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft word, Excel, Service Channel
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or facilities management, preferably within a retail or multi-location environment. Experience with minor hands-on repair or troubleshooting is a plus.
- Proactively identify, track, and prevent facilities-related issues across all Europe retail and office locations.
- Manage and monitor all Service Channel requests from initiation to closure, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Escalate issues that require special attention or strategic decision-making to the Director of Retail Facilities.
- Coordinate closely with vendor partners and other vendors to ensure work is completed to company standards.
- Provide light hands-on support and minor facility troubleshooting when appropriate.
- Oversee facilities for all current and future Europe retail stores, SIS locations, Wellness spaces, and corporate office spaces.
- Partner cross-functionally with Wellness and Office/Corporate teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Work from the shared corporate office when not visiting stores or facilities.
