What you´ll do: 

The SME will be a key enabler in Financial Accounting business tower to achieve Quality objectives and standards, make proposals for process improvement and also a driver of the process standardization ideas. The duties will also include to analyse and highlight the differences amongst the country practices and based on these make recommendations. 

Key responsibilities:

• Understanding, articulating, and implementing best practices related to area of expertise.

• Contributing with financial accounting team(s).

• Demonstrating full understanding of the given Financial Accounting process(es) and drawing from best practices internally and externally.

• Providing accurate information and effectively communicating their ideas.

• Coordinating and ensuring that internal process documentation is up to date.

• Granting functional support for handling escalations and proposing further actions if needed.

• Calculating the KPI measures, analysing the results and proposing actions if needed.

You should apply if you bring:

• Degree in Economics, ideally with emphasis on Finance/Accounting.

• Previous Finance/Accounting experience with strong accounting knowledge.

• English language knowledge (verbal, written) at least on an upper-intermediate level.

• Analytical mind-set.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, logical thinking.

• Accuracy: ability to work precisely under pressure and with tight deadlines.

• “Can do “mentality, collaborative approach; team spirit.

• Confident user skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel.
