EMC Engineer & Quality Leader

Valeo’s Valeo Power Division combines expertise in thermal energy management and powertrain systems, reducing pollutant emissions and maximizing vehicle autonomy.

Valeo’s Site located in Créteil, France is a Research & Development Center. It employs 300 people working on the development of electric powertrain systems (inverter, eMotors, DC/DC, etc).

We are looking for a CEM Engineer & Quality Leader

Accountable for :

• Perform EMC testing activities in compliance with the Test Plan and Methods.

• Review and understand internal requirements, customer specifications, and regulatory standards related to EMC.

• Ensure robust test execution aligned with project timelines and within the requirements of ISO 17025 .

• Operate and configure EMC test benches using BAT EMC software and related tools.

• Follow standardization and compliance rules (CISPR, ISO, OEM-specific standards, etc.).

• Prepare, execute, and analyze EMC validation tests (Radiated/Conducted Emission, Immunity, ESD, etc.) across automotive components.

• Ensure proper documentation of test setups, procedures, results, and non-conformities.

• Report testing progress and escalate risks, delays, or non-conformities to Lab Manager and Team Lead.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and processes within the ISO 17025 framework.

Quality Leader activities : 

• Be responsible for the deployment, application, and continuous improvement of the laboratory Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 & Cofrac requirements.. 

• Communicate and implement the modifications / updates of the QMS in his laboratory

• Provide to the newcomer the QMS initial training and ensure the Quality training of the team

• Ensure the quality updates Application in the laboratory

• Ensure the quality and reliability of all testing activities

• Ensure the Team skills follow up and the QRQC management

• Lead the monthly meeting of the team and key KPIs

• Participate in the Management of Quality System and QMS site update

• Participate in the Quality network

• Participate in the management review, Quality Control and quality standard analysis

• Lead the Internal and external Audits and treatment of deviations.

• Perform the customer and team satisfaction survey and analyse the data

• Make the followup of the test reports and the quality of results

• Ensure the quality and compliance of laboratory records and activities by performing regular quality control.

• Ensure the application of 5S and safety rules in the laboratory

• Participate in the  Technical Standard Monitoring and analysis; Technical improvement and updates application
