Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Diver to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Performing underwater inspections of structures, foundations, and seabed conditions and reporting findings to the project team
Assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of underwater components.
Conducting underwater measurements, photography, and video documentation to support engineering assessments and quality control
Supporting survey teams with positioning, marking, and verification of underwater construction elements
Preparing dive plans, conducting pre-dive checks, and participating in risk assessments and safety briefings
Maintaining diving equipment in good working condition and reporting any defects or incidents promptly
Working with supervisors to ensure diving operations comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and project procedures
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Diploma with 5-8 years of experience in the relevant field.
Valid commercial diving certification from a recognized authority and medical fitness to dive
Experience in construction, marine, or offshore diving operations
Strong knowledge of diving safety procedures, emergency protocols, and relevant regulations
Good physical fitness, situational awareness, and comfort working in varying underwater conditions
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience on island, coastal, or offshore construction projects
Familiarity with underwater inspection techniques, non-destructive testing, and use of underwater tools and equipment
Knowledge of underwater video and photography for documentation and reporting
Prior experience working with engineers and surveyors on marine or infrastructure projects
