Delta View Post Acute is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our healthcare team. The Dietary Aide will assist with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary dining and kitchen environment while helping ensure our residents receive nutritious and enjoyable meals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and beverages to residents.

• Set up and deliver meal trays according to resident diets and preferences.

• Assist with dining room and kitchen cleanup.

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas.

• Assist with stocking and storing food and supplies.

• Follow assigned therapeutic and special diet requirements.

• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents.

• Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other departments.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor or Director of Food Services.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.

• Compassionate and respectful approach when working with residents.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties associated with food service.
