Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our ever-evolving technology team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you'll help ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical payment platforms while driving automation, resilience, and operational excellence across our global infrastructure.
What you'll own
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and services across cloud and containerized environments.
- Drive reliability initiatives through chaos engineering, game days, incident analysis, performance testing, and disaster recovery validation.
- Develop automation and self-service capabilities using DevOps and GitOps practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance, security, and availability issues.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Technical Operations teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues, improve platform stability, and evolve site reliability best practices.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting highly available production environments with a strong understanding of reliability, monitoring, incident management, and operational excellence.
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, or similar environments.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across systems, networks, and application platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, software delivery practices, and modern DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
It's a bonus if you have
- Experience implementing Chaos Engineering practices and leading reliability testing exercises.
- Experience with GitOps tools and modern observability platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems in cloud-native environments.
- Passion for automation and proactive problem prevention, with a mindset of continuously improving system reliability and operational efficiency.
