Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technology team and play a key role in building, automating, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure technology environments.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, automation, monitoring, and security. The role requires someone who can work across development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams and take ownership of solutions from inception through deployment and ongoing production support.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in modern cloud-native and microservices environments, with practical experience using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Service Mesh, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Automation
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices across the software development and delivery lifecycle.
- Automate deployment, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes.
- Develop reusable automation solutions to improve deployment speed, consistency, reliability, and scalability.
- Identify manual and repetitive operational activities and convert them into automated workflows.
- Support continuous improvement of development and operational processes.
CI/CD & Release Management
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and maintain Jenkins-based Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Jenkins Shared Libraries and Pipeline-as-Code solutions.
- Develop automation scripts using Groovy, Python, Bash, or other appropriate scripting technologies.
- Implement and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for build, testing, deployment, and automation.
- Support automated application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Improve release processes through automation, standardization, and continuous delivery practices.
Kubernetes & Container Technologies
- Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications.
- Work extensively with Native Kubernetes and/or OpenShift environments.
- Support application deployment and management across container platforms.
- Work with Kubernetes-based workloads, services, configurations, secrets, and deployment mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot container, networking, deployment, and runtime issues.
- Support highly available and scalable containerized environments.
- Work with cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, manage, and support infrastructure across public cloud environments.
- Work with at least one major public cloud platform such as:
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Implement cloud infrastructure following security, scalability, availability, and performance best practices.
- Support cloud migration, deployment, configuration, and operational activities.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.
Infrastructure as Code & Configuration Management
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Automate configuration management and application/infrastructure provisioning using Ansible.
- Create reusable and standardized infrastructure deployment processes.
- Manage multiple environments using automated and version-controlled infrastructure configurations.
- Ensure infrastructure changes follow appropriate governance, security, and change-management practices.
GitOps
- Implement and support GitOps-based deployment practices.
- Work with tools such as ArgoCD to automate application deployments and environment synchronization.
- Maintain deployment configurations and application manifests through version-controlled repositories.
- Troubleshoot synchronization and deployment issues within GitOps environments.
Service Mesh & Microservices
- Provide hands-on support for Service Mesh technologies in cloud-native environments.
- Understand communication patterns between microservices and troubleshoot service-to-service connectivity issues.
- Support traffic management, service discovery, security, and observability within microservices environments.
- Work with authentication and authorization mechanisms for microservices.
- Support secure communication between distributed services.
Security & Authentication
- Apply strong infrastructure and application security practices across DevOps environments.
- Understand microservice authentication and authorization processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of OAuth 2.0 standards and their practical implementation.
- Support secure API communication and service-to-service authentication.
- Work closely with security and infrastructure teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure security considerations are incorporated into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application deployments.
Monitoring, Logging & Observability
- Implement and maintain application and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
- Work with monitoring and observability technologies such as:
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- ELK Stack
- Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Analyze logs and metrics to identify performance, availability, and reliability issues.
- Support proactive monitoring and incident detection.
- Contribute to improving system observability and operational reliability.
API & Integration
- Demonstrate understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Work with API consumers and publishers.
- Develop or configure integrations with external and internal APIs.
- Troubleshoot API connectivity, authentication, and communication issues.
- Apply appropriate security standards when integrating APIs and microservices.
Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, deployment, and environment-related issues.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in incident resolution and production support activities.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Support applications and infrastructure throughout their complete lifecycle.
- Maintain reliability and availability of production environments.
Project Delivery
- Take ownership of technical activities from project inception through implementation, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, infrastructure engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical design and solution implementation.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines, quality standards, and technical requirements.
- Provide operational support after project implementation.

What You Will Do in This Role
This role is suited for a hands-on DevOps Engineer, not someone limited to pipeline administration.
You will be expected to work across the complete DevOps lifecycle — from infrastructure provisioning and automation to CI/CD, container orchestration, cloud deployments, GitOps, monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and production support.
You will also be expected to collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, scalability, security, and operational maturity.
