As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing comprehensive procedures to ensure smooth daily operations and effective problem resolution. The position requires continuous monitoring and optimization of database performance, collaborating with various teams to align database solutions with business objectives, and ensuring data integrity and security throughout the system lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and enforcement of database standards and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Oversee the implementation of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Database Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of complex database systems.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Familiarity with database security protocols and data encryption methods.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
- Skilled in scripting and automation to streamline database maintenance tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Database Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
