Job Summary

As the Customer Order Specialist, You will provide efficient order management by processing customer orders accurately and in a timely manner. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to orders to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Accepting and validating sales order by checking references and validating relevant information.
• Supporting Continuous Improvement of Order Management Processes to ensure high Customer Satisfaction with special attention to Ordering & Delivery aspects.
• Managing manual order creation for complex projects, including milestone delivery and billing schedules.
• Checking availability of sales orders and prepares delivery proposal; where needed, selects proposed alternatives, updates order status and escalates deviations.
• Ensuring timely response to customer questions and complaints regarding products and services provided through various channels.
• Processing customer orders accurately and promptly to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintaining a clean order book, ensuring no old open orders.
• Monitoring order status and communicates updates to customers and relevant stakeholders.
• Resolving order-related issues and discrepancies to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Reporting monthly the order receipts, deliveries, sales and stock levels.
• Managing customer master data.

Critical Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in order management or supply chain operations, with a focus on customer service and order processing.
• Experience in Continuous improvement or Problem solving methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma/Agile/…) is preferred but not mandatory.
