We’re looking for a Static Creative Strategist to join a growing creative agency that provides done-for-you creative strategy and design for e-commerce brands.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative strategies, angles, hooks, and concepts for static e-commerce ads.
• Write clear, actionable creative briefs for designers to execute.
• Develop new ad concepts based on customer insights, product benefits, competitor research, and proven creative principles.
• Work across multiple e-commerce client accounts and adapt creative strategies to different brands and audiences.
• Analyze existing creative and identify opportunities for new tests and iterations.
• Help develop static ad campaigns designed to drive direct-response performance.
• Collaborate closely with designers to ensure creative concepts are executed effectively.
• Learn and apply proven creative frameworks and strategies with mentorship from the agency founder.

Requirements

• Experience in static ad creative strategy for e-commerce brands.
• Proven experience creating winning static ads, with at least a few ads that have received $10K+ in ad spend.
• Strong understanding of direct-response static advertising and what makes an ad convert.
• Ability to develop strong hooks, angles, concepts, and messaging for static ads.
• Strong creative brief-writing skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to designers.
• Experience working with multiple e-commerce brands or client accounts, preferably in an agency environment.
• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills with a willingness to test, learn, and iterate.
• You do not need to be a designer or media buyer — the focus is on creative strategy and ideation.
• Smart, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-moving agency environment.
