Overview of the Role
As a Content Streaming Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless sports content streaming experience at Arena Sports Bar. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports—especially football—and enjoys working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will manage live sports broadcasts, maintain streaming systems, and ensure customers enjoy uninterrupted viewing experiences.
What you'll do:
As a Content Streaming Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless sports content streaming experience at Arena Sports Bar. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports—especially football—and enjoys working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will manage live sports broadcasts, maintain streaming systems, and ensure customers enjoy uninterrupted viewing experiences.
What you'll do:
- Manage live sports content streaming services and event broadcasts.
- Organize and schedule weekly live sports events from relevant broadcasters.
- Update event calendars and streaming schedules on a daily basis.
- Monitor and maintain streaming quality throughout live events.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and streaming-related technical issues.
- Coordinate with the Workplace Technology (WPT) team when technical support is required.
- Provide basic support using OBS Studio for content streaming.
- Manage music playback before and after major sporting events.
- Manage advertising and promotional content displayed before and after live events.
- Set up, monitor, and maintain audio-visual equipment.
- Update digital marketing banners and promotional content across screens and displays within the venue.
- Ensure customers have a smooth and uninterrupted viewing experience.
Core Skills & Tools
- Basic knowledge of OBS Studio
- Familiarity with live streaming platforms and broadcasting services
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of audio-visual equipment
- Microsoft Office tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
What you'll bring:
- A genuine passion for sports, especially football.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to remain calm and organized during live sporting events.
- Previous experience with streaming or AV equipment is an advantage but not required.
