The Opportunity

As a Commis Chef, you'll work alongside talented culinary leaders in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment where no two days are the same.

Whether your passion is premium dining, large-scale events, hotel operations or contemporary casual venues, you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills, gain valuable experience and develop your craft within one of Australia's most recognised hospitality destinations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in line with Crown standards
• Supporting the kitchen team in delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Learning a variety of cooking techniques, cuisines and service styles
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture
• Working closely with experienced chefs who are committed to mentoring and developing emerging talent

About You

You are passionate about food, eager to learn and motivated to grow your culinary career.

You'll also bring:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
• Minimum Two Years experience in a professional kitchen environment as a Commis Chef (essential)
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• The ability to work effectively within a team
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Full Time and Part Time 4 positions at Crown require 7-day availability
