- Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies, and quality standards, partnering closely with project managers and client sponsors to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate finance process workshops with client stakeholders to document current-state processes, define future-state operating models, and identify opportunities for automation and control improvements.
- Design and validate solutions across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, revenue recognition, cash management, financial reporting, and related finance workstreams.
- Support pre-sales activities and proposal development by shaping solution approaches, estimating delivery effort, contributing to statements of work, and presenting solution recommendations to prospective clients.
- Mentor junior consultants and architects by providing design guidance, reviewing deliverables, sharing implementation best practices, and supporting professional development across the delivery team.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Ability to translate finance, accounting, and operational requirements into clear functional designs, solution blueprints, and delivery plans.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, data models, integrations, security considerations, reporting, and release management practices.
- Experience working with senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs, controllers, finance directors, shared services leaders, and technology sponsors.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and finance concepts to both business and technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience implementing Certinia Financial Management Cloud solutions in complex client environments, preferably across multiple full project lifecycles.
- Strong finance and accounting process knowledge, including month-end close, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, billing, revenue management, intercompany, controls, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience as a Solution Architect, Delivery Manager, Senior Consultant, or equivalent senior implementation role within a consulting or enterprise technology environment.
- Salesforce Administrator certification preferred, with additional Salesforce platform or architecture credentials considered an advantage.
- Certinia Financial Management certifications highly desirable, particularly where supported by practical experience designing and delivering Certinia finance solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, facilitation, problem-solving, and executive communication skills, with a track record of building trusted client relationships.
What Success Looks Like:
- Clients have clear, practical solution designs that support their finance transformation goals and can be delivered with confidence.
- Implementation teams understand the architecture, delivery priorities, risks, and decision points needed to move projects forward effectively.
- Solutions are adopted successfully by finance users and provide measurable improvements in process efficiency, reporting visibility, controls, and scalability.
