About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Compliance Lead to establish and drive our compliance function across payment, card issuing, and digital asset businesses. This role will lead licensing initiatives, engage directly with regulators, strengthen our AML framework, and partner closely with business teams to enable sustainable growth while maintaining the highest compliance standards.

What You'll Do

Regulatory & Licensing
- Lead or play a key role in obtaining and maintaining Hong Kong regulatory licences, including MSO, VASP, and other relevant licences supporting business expansion.
- Act as the primary compliance contact for regulators, including Hong Kong Customs & Excise Department, SFC, HKMA, and other regulatory authorities.
- Manage regulatory enquiries, inspections, audits, licence applications, and renewals.
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide practical guidance to internal stakeholders.

Business Compliance
- Build and continuously enhance the compliance framework supporting Payment, Card Issuing, Cross-border Payments, and Digital Assets.
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes and operational controls.
- Own and continuously improve the firm's AML/CFT compliance framework.
- Oversee KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious transaction reporting.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with FATF standards, Travel Rule requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations.
- Develop compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and periodic reviews.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of compliance experience within FinTech, Payments, Digital Assets, or Banking.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong MSO and VASP regulatory frameworks, with hands on MSO license applicarion and renewal experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading regulatory licensing applications.
- Experience engaging directly with Hong Kong regulators, including Customs & Excise Department, SFC, and HKMA.
- Solid understanding of AML/CFT, KYC, FATF, and Travel Rule requirements.
- Familiarity with payment, card issuing, or digital asset business models.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
