Reports to:  Director of Facilities & Operations

Primary Function: Skilled and experienced Bus Driver who is a responsible professional that will safely transport passengers to their destinations. A successful candidate for this position will be reliable, punctual, and have excellent customer service skills.

Essential Functions: The Bus Driver will:

• Morning and afternoon, all days that school is in session, pick up and drop off students to and from Prep.

• Operate a bus safely and efficiently to transport passengers to various destinations

• Operate a bus in accordance with state laws, traffic regulations, and company policies

• Inspect bus before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition

• Be able to communicate effectively with passengers and provide information about routes and schedules.

• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus when needed

• Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior

• Communicate with Fairfield Prep Operations team as needed to coordinate routes and schedules

• Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical problems immediately to the Director of Facilities & Operations.

• Attend training sessions and meetings as required

• Must possess a valid driver's license with at least a PPE, Public Passenger Endorsement

• Clean driving record with no accidents or violations
