We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team, part of our people and investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Hong Kong. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The incumbent will provide operational and analytical support to the employee benefits consulting/broking team and Account Managers. He/she will also ensure client needs are met in line with agreed service standards and timelines.
We will count on you to:
(1) Client Servicing & Coordination:
- Support day-to-day service delivery for assigned clients (requests, follow-ups, documentation).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet client requirements within agreed timelines.
- Build collaborative working relationships across internal teams through clear and timely communication.
(2) Renewals / Placement / Billing Support:
- Support annual renewal activities and mid-term changes.
- Prepare renewal reports/materials and track required inputs.
- Follow up with clients for missing information and confirmations.
- Coordinate with internal teams for quotation, placing and billing activities (as applicable).
(3) Data Preparation & Benefits Analytics:
- Develop a working understanding of major employee benefits/insurance classes offered by the Company
- Collect, clean, and “massage” data (e.g., claims, benefit utilization, member census) for analysis
- Produce clear summaries/insights and highlight key observations for team management
(4) Accuracy, Governance & Filing:
- Validate that information received is accurate and aligned with engagement scope, policy terms and coverage
- Ensure proper filing, version control, and completeness of records in shared folders
(5) Claims Support:
- Maintain awareness of moderately complex claim-related matters
- Support claims personnel by coordinating information and assisting with progressing equitable claim outcomes on behalf of clients (within role scope)
What you need to have:
- Bachelor Degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Behavioral, or in another related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills (ability to interpret claims/utilization/census data, identify trends/cost drivers, and translate findings into clear insights and client-ready summaries)
- Solid Excel/reporting skills (e.g., pivot tables, data cleaning, reconciliation, basic charting)
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively
