Role summary
The BCAR Coordinator/Engineer is responsible for the collation of all project documentation.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Co-ordination and tracking of inspection plans during the course of the project
- Undertaking timely site progress inspections and reports for CCC applications
- Coordination of all necessary legal boundary maps for submission to Land Registry and legal teams
- Coordination and population of all relevant subcontractor Ancillary Certification in line with works on site
- Collation of technical documents required for BER assessor for release of BER certification
- Ensuring co-ordination & provision of all test certificates and confirmations to the satisfaction of all Certifiers for the purpose of Completion Certificate submission
- Attend weekly Project Coordination meetings on site and provide BCAR Summary reports in line with site progress.
- Attending subcontractor Pre-Award Meetings and identifying in conjunction with the BCAR Technical officer the documentation required for all technical packages provided by the subcontractor.
- Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners
- Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders
- Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time

Requirements
- Must have a third level qualification in a technical discipline - Construction/ Civil Engineering /Building Surveying or other related area
- Relevant experience in a in civil engineering or construction role
- Full understanding of Building Control Regulations and Code of Practice
- Full understanding of construction sequence of works
- Technically strong with excellent communication skills
- Full valid driving license is required
