Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Embedded Software Engineer located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain embedded systems and applications.
Analyze requirements, perform architecture design, detailed design, implementation, unit test, integration test and qualification test for Embedded Software and HW Drivers.
Develop, integrate and maintain device drivers and low-level software components on Embedded Linux and/or Zephyr RTOS platforms.
Design and implement OS abstraction layers (OSAL) and support software portability across different operating systems.
Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Your Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Systems or Linux Embedded Systems.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ for HW Drivers, Linux Kernel, Embedded Software, Compiler, Bash/Shell Script and Makefile.
Experience with Embedded Linux Driver/Kernel/UBOOT development.
Experience with device driver development and low-level software programming.
Experience with Zephyr RTOS and OSAL (Operating System Abstraction Layer).
Experience with Renesas FSP (Flexible Software Package) for RA/RX/RZ platforms is highly preferred.
Experience with Hardware Manuals, Schematics and Datasheets.
Experience with any AUTOSAR Classic Platform module (MCAL, BSW, ASW, BLE).
Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet.
Experience with AUTOSAR Configuration Tools (e.g. DaVinci, ECU Spectrum).
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with emulators, simulators, debugging and test equipment.
Experience with multi-tasking and multi-thread programming is a plus.
Good teamwork, communication and self-management skills.
English proficiency in reading and writing.
