About the role
The Associate Embedded Software Delivery Manager enables successful delivery across Embedded Software teams by coordinating planning, execution, dependencies and stakeholder communication.
You will work closely with Engineering Managers, Platform Architects, Program Managers, Systems Engineering and development teams to align work with priorities, capacity and delivery commitments. You will create visibility, manage risks and dependencies, support Agile ways of working and drive continuous improvement across delivery processes.

What you’ll do
Delivery Planning & Execution
Coordinate squad-level delivery planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement and PI planning activities.
Ensure work is aligned with platform priorities, available capacity and delivery commitments.
Support release planning and delivery forecasting activities.
Maintain visibility of delivery progress, milestones and commitments.
Delivery Governance & Reporting
Track delivery performance, risks, dependencies and blockers across multiple initiatives.
Monitor delivery metrics and provide meaningful reporting to stakeholders.
Support delivery governance, milestone management and release readiness activities.
Help maintain delivery discipline and predictability across teams.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Partner with Engineering Managers, Platform Architects, Program Managers, Systems Engineering and software teams to coordinate delivery activities.
Facilitate alignment across stakeholders to manage dependencies and competing priorities.
Communicate progress, risks, trade-offs and delivery impacts clearly and proactively.
Build strong relationships that support effective collaboration and decision-making.
Agile Delivery & Continuous Improvement
Support Agile delivery practices including Scrum, Kanban and team operating rhythms.
Use delivery metrics to identify improvement opportunities and enhance delivery performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen planning effectiveness and execution.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of delivery processes and team ways of working.
Risk, Dependency & Release Management
Identify, manage and communicate delivery risks, dependencies and impediments.
Balance scope, quality, technical debt, capacity and delivery commitments.
Support release readiness activities and quality-focused delivery practices.
Work with teams to proactively resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum
About you
We are looking for someone who brings structure, collaboration and delivery discipline to complex engineering environments.
You Will Bring
Experience coordinating software, firmware or embedded software delivery activities within complex engineering environments.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, forecasting and dependency management.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver technology, software or engineering programs.
Ability to manage competing priorities and bring structure to complex delivery environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience identifying and managing risks, dependencies and delivery trade-offs.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A collaborative approach with a focus on achieving shared delivery outcomes.
What will help you stand out
You will stand out if you have supported delivery in embedded software, medical devices or other regulated engineering environments. Experience with Agile frameworks, release planning, delivery forecasting, capacity management and continuous improvement will be highly regarded. Exposure to software quality processes, compliance requirements and delivery metrics such as velocity, cycle time and predictability will further strengthen your application.
