As Associate Director - Geospatial, you'll be responsible for leading and growing BakerHicks' geospatial capability, combining technical leadership with business development, client engagement, and team growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and delivering the geospatial strategy, business plan, and growth roadmap for the discipline.
- Driving business development activities, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
- Leading bids, tenders, proposals, and client presentations to help grow revenue and increase market presence.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and developing long-term strategic partnerships.
- Building, mentoring, and growing a high-performing geospatial team, creating clear development pathways and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Providing technical leadership and governance across geospatial projects and programmes.
- Championing the adoption of GIS, AI, automation, digital twins, and emerging technologies to improve project delivery and client outcomes

About You
We're looking for an experienced geospatial professional who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills.
You'll likely bring:
- Significant experience leading geospatial teams within a consultancy, infrastructure, engineering or related environment.
- Experience developing and growing teams, capabilities, services or business units.
- Strong commercial awareness and a track record of supporting business development activities.
- Experience building client relationships and winning new work.
- Extensive knowledge of geospatial technologies including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, QGIS and related platforms.
- Experience in GIS, spatial analytics, data management, digital delivery and geospatial innovation.
Many of the positions within our company are subject to security clearance or security assurance levels.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance or assurance level for this role, in line with client and sector requirements.
In some cases, additional nationality or residency criteria may also apply due to specific client or national security obligations.
