The Opportunity

J-Mack Technologies is seeking a Senior AI Engineer  to design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems that solve meaningful business and customer problems. This role will work closely with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to build reliable, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strog software engineering fundamentals with practical experience in machine learning, generative AI, large language models, and data-driven product development.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or a related technical role.
• 3+ years of experience in Python and experience with software development best practices.
• 3+ years of experience with generative AI and large language models.
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, databases, version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Required Tools/Technologies: AWS Bedrock, Artificial Intelligence Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Docker, Amazon SageMaker, and JupyterLab
• Understanding of machine-learning concepts, model evaluation, and data preparation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Salesforce and MuleSoft
• Experience with generative AI and large language models.
• Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or similar tools.
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems.
• Experience with MLOps, model monitoring, and scalable inference systems.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, data privacy, and AI security practices.
• Experience delivering AI solutions from prototype through production.
