Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain business continuity and system reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impact of issues.
- Document findings and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the testing and validation of fixes and enhancements to ensure system stability.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of issues and solutions.
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems within software applications and business systems.
- Familiarity with documentation tools and techniques to maintain accurate records of system issues and resolutions.
- Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
-Attending and leading meetings such as Sprint review, weekly status calls, daily status calls, P1/P2 bridge calls
-Few aspects of Change management like logging the change, following up with the business for approvals
-DEV COE documentation from functional perspective (documenting BRDs)
-Incident management : Monitoring incident queues, reassigning to appropriate teams, escalate/start bridge in case of p1/p2 incident, share timely updates with all stakeholders for business critical incidents
-Managing CMDB (application information database)


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
